What is AngelList

Angelist

AngelList is a US website for startups, angel investors, and job-seekers looking to work at startups. It was founded by Naval Ravikant and Babak Nivi. AngelList offers investment syndicates in which startups raise money from accredited investors investing alongside prominent angel investors. The company is also looking at equity crowdfunding with unaccredited investors after the passage of the US JOBS Act. In 2013, AngelList partnered with CrunchBase, an online tech company database, making it a valuable resource for startups to discover and research potential investors, and for angel investors to discover and research startups in their fields of interest.

AngelList also has a strong focus on data science and machine learning, as it is a great platform for startups in the field of computer vision, data science and machine learning to connect with angel investors who are interested in those areas.
